Dear Parents/Guardians,

At Tesla Education, our goal is to foster every student’s passion for learning and develop responsible individuals who strive to achieve their full potential. Our integrated, bilingual curricular approach focuses on cognitive development and our students’ ability to think critically and creatively solve problems as they prepare for life’s many challenges. In addition to our commitment to academic success, Tesla values the individual talents and personalities of every learner and strives to build the character of all students. We believe educating a child requires contributions from the entire community and at school this begins with the environment and pedagogical approach.


Learners require a safe, fair, and consistent atmosphere where everyone feels they are a contributing member of a community. Tesla Education is a place where students collaboratively acquire conceptual understandings and learn to apply them in new and diverse situations. We believe students flourish in an environment that leverages diversity, promotes resilience, rewards innovation, and empowers students to accept responsibility for their own learning. We understand that:

Embracing diversity means understanding that every individual brings attributes to the learning community and enhances the experience of the entire group.

Cognitive development is enhanced in a multilingual environment. Students acquiring multiple languages gain a clear understanding of the structure and function of language in general and develop into effective and confident communicators.

Providing students with agency and allowing them to act independently to make choices throughout the learning process builds intrinsic motivation, increases engagement, and develops the skills necessary to successfully navigate in a world that has yet to be defined.

Pedagogical Approach 

Acquiring the attitudes and attributes of a lifelong learner requires students to engage in learning as a process. Our responsibility is to create opportunities for students to actively pursue new concepts and skills through activities encouraging them to reflect, analyze, and modify their understandings. We believe units of study are developed around specific learning goals to ensure clarity, design relevant student assessment, and implement effective and engaging learning experiences. We understand that:

Content standards are developmentally appropriate learning progressions that represent student destinations.  Inquiry and discovery are the essential paths.

Performance-based assessment provides every learner with the opportunity to creatively demonstrate understanding in ways that are meaningful to their lives.

Technology is a tool that provides relevance and enhances traditional educational practices.

Teachers are facilitators and coordinators of student-centered learning activities focused on communication, collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking.

The Tesla educational experience incorporates Eastern values with Western innovation by integrating the Vietnamese National Curriculum (NC) with the International Baccalaureate pedagogical framework. We are honored to have the privilege of developing the intellect and integrity of future global leaders while maintaining their cultural heritage and aspire to provide a meaningful and exciting learning journey.
